書封選用如錫箔紙般的銀色紙張，印上水珠紋理，
透過光影折射，營造近似玻璃的超現實透明感，
彷彿重現大雨中溺水之人眼中所見的世界。
諾貝爾文學獎作家大江健三郎的小說《水死》，
其故事源自作者記憶中一樁溺死事件的回聲與重構。
Book Design｜Kenzaburō Ōe Death by Water
The cover uses a silver stock reminiscent of foil,
printed with water droplet textures.
Through the refraction of light and shadow,
it creates a surreal, glass-like transparency—evoking
the world seen through the eyes of someone
drowning in torrential rain. Death by Water,
a novel by Nobel laureate Kenzaburō Ōe,
draws on the echo and reworking of
a drowning incident preserved in the author’s memory.
